Ask for beta that moves you forward.
The best requests are short, specific, and honest. That is how you get feedback you can actually use.
Do
- Keep the clip short and steady
- Show your full body, not just the crux
- State your grade and discipline clearly
- Ask one focused question
Avoid
- Vague questions like "Any tips?"
- Multiple questions in one request
- Long, shaky, or incomplete clips
- Asking for coaching beyond the attempt
Example request
"Third try on V5. I keep cutting feet on the bump to the right hand. What should I change in my setup to stay on?"
Follow-up matters
If the feedback changed your next attempt, add a follow-up note. It is the clearest signal that BetaUp works.
